Student Dorms

Each of our partner universities offer dorms for international students. Student Dorms offer a rich cultural experience, and are great places to meet many people from all over the world. Conditions vary from school to school, but all international student dorms are well-located, clean, comfortable, and most importantly safe, with 24-hour security.

Universities generally offer one- or two-bed rooms (We can allocate a suitable roommate for you at your request), rooms coming equipped with desks, chairs, a TV, telephone. Private bathrooms and Internet access are available in many universities, and shared kitchens and washing facilities are also often available for public use in dormitory buildings.

Homestay

Homestay is the preferred accommodation choice for those students wanting a unique opportunity to get first hand experience into the Chinese culture and way of life. Daily contact with the host family will likely enhance your Chinese language skills as well. In addition to getting your own room, you are also provided with two meals a day (usually breakfast and dinner).

Host families are carefully selected based on several criterions: comfort and cleanliness of home environment, proximity of home to university, income of family, type of meals provided, and educational background.

Each room is furnished with new and modern furniture, including a bed, desk, chair and closet. A storage area may also be provided for the student to store personal belongings. Electricity, gas, water and two meals are included in the accommodation. Cost of outgoing telephone calls are to be paid by the individual.

Shared Apartments

Modern and spacious shared apartments comprise of 2 to 3 bedrooms, a living and dining room, kitchen, and bathroom with 24 hours hot water. Each bedroom consists of a bed, desk, chair and closet. The living room area has a sofa, coffee table, TV, and DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, along with a washing machine. There is a table and chairs in the dining area. Telephone, internet access, and air-conditioning are available. Electricity, gas, water and telephone calls are to be paid by the individuals. RWC will assign roommates.

Private Apartments

Private apartments are modern, and though a little smaller than shared apartments they are still quite spacious. Each private apartment has a bedroom, a living and dining room, kitchen, and bathroom with 24 hours hot water. The bedroom is furnished with a bed, desk, chair and closet. The living room area has a sofa, coffee table, TV, and DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, along with a washing machine. There is a table and chairs in the dining area. Telephone, internet access, and air-conditioning are available. Electricity, gas, water and telephone calls are to be paid by the individual.

Hotels

Participants live in a four star hotel. Each room is fully equipped with modern furniture, bed, private bathroom, fridge, satellite TV, air conditioning, and telephone. The hotel offers daily housekeeping and has laundry and recreation facilities, including a pool and gym. Included in the accommodation are free electricity, water, broadband, local incoming telephone calls, daily breakfast, and access to swimming pool. Cost of outgoing local and long distance telephone calls are to be paid by the individual. There are also many Chinese, Japanese, Korean and western cuisine restaurants nearby and within walking distance.
